New York Moment by Diana Hunter
Good story. It took a tad longer than a New York minute to read but not by much in these two chapters.
Aidan is the Dominate, the Alpha and the Hunter who wants to claim his secretary Penelope. Penny is his challenge, all "Prim, proper and wound up tighter than a Swiss watch." But Penny believes "it's the hunt that excites you. Not the conquest."
This story would have been a wonderful full length novel but what there was of it was well written and made you want to cheer for this couple and their developing relationship.
Favorite line...
"a man who uses a woman for his own sexual gratification, but belittles her into thinking she is no good in bed, is not a dominant personality, but a submissive one."
